So this weekend was also spent being pretty lean back. First was FWD @ Matter which is the new venue. To be honest I don’t really like the space, it’s to big and clinical, unlike The End where it felt a bit more comfortable and intimate. There you could bump ssweaty shoulders with ya fellow raver, but there it was so spacious and the air was cool, it was like middle-class ravin if I can sum it up. Don’t get me wrong I had a wicked time, although probably should not have consumed certain things that spaced me out, but I doubt I’ll go back. If anything, when I move back, It’ll probably just be a Sunday night ting @ Plastic.

Don’t have no pics, coz my camera is buss. But that’s probably a good thing anyway!

Miss Dynamite, Boy Better Know, Crazy Cousins and Skream and Benga were my definate highlights! A man even covered his ears coz me and Hayley screamed BOOOOOO so loud! And when Crazy Cousins played ‘Go’ by meleka, boy……manz wanted to watch out! All the girls were on some aggy tip remembering all the men that have wronged em in the past! haha

Good Times, Bad Venue

So then it was Angel on Saturday night, we headed down to ‘Stacked’ which was proper jokes! I have’nt ever been before, but boy oh boy did we buss some moves! I did feel quite old actually, bare heads were like under 18! But anyways I forgot that I’m a grandma and strutted by mature shit all over the place! After getting some chip kebab we ended up in Broadwater Farm Estate until like 6am with some jokes dudes we met….Those ends are serious man!

So this weekend was spent being pretty drunk. In between that I did manage to attend some social events! First off on Friday was Undercover @ The Fashion and Textile Museum. This was amazing, and had I not necked off a bottle of wine before entering I probably could have done a bit of networking, instead I just drank more and didn’t talk to anyone except Hayley!

The show was sick though, they had all sorts, burlesque and peep shows and life drawing with a bar, and nice underwear everywhere!

The music provided was pretty sick too, I saw Stac and and a proper jokes girl from Bromley, but not Bromley-by-Bow called Bridgette Aphrodite.
